A few days ago Xiaomi made the Redmi 9 official in Spain, but the model arrived in stores bringing only 3 or 4GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of storage, which may not suit all users. In the Chinese agency’s database, a cellphone identified by model code M2004J19G was listed, suggesting imminent launch in China. Obviously, this is the Redmi 9, however, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB, specifications possibly aimed at the Chinese market, where there is a lot of competition between local brands.
In addition, information from the Chinese certification agency TENAA has revealed that this device will be available in blue, black, green, pink, red, and white. Please note that all of these colors may not be available on the release date.
In addition to this change, all other aspects of this smartphone are the same as the Redmi 9. However, it is possible that this smartphone does not reach China as Redmi 9. It may have a different name, as we have seen in the past.
The Redmi 9 comes with a 6.53-inch full-HD + (1080 × 2340 pixels) waterdrop screen. This smartphone uses a MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core SoC clocked at 2GHz and a Mali-G52 GPU. It comes with up to 4GB of RAM The internal storage reaches 64GB. There is also an option for a microSD card. In addition, this device comes with Android 10 from the factory.
In the camera department, Redmi 9 uses a quad-camera configuration. we have a 13MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The Redmi 9 has a huge 5020mAh battery that supports 18W Quick Charge 3.0. Inside the box is a 10W charger. This means that the charger in the box works at just 10W. If you want the maximum charging capacity, you will have to purchase an 18W charger separately.
For connectivity, Redmi 9 is compatible with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth v5, Wi-Fi Direct, FM radio, NFC, GPS, AGPS, 3.5 mm audio connector , USB Type- Port C and infrared sensor. It also supports vibration motor, distance sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and electronic compass.
