While waiting for Vivo to launch its first smartwatch, here are images of the alleged patent of the wearable device. Thanks to the tweet posted by @_the_tech_guy which offers us some clues and gives us an idea of what the Vivo Watch in question might look like.
The photos have been published on Twitter and, although they do not have a direct connection with Vivo, they presumably refer to the patent of his first smartwatch.
Looking more closely at the photos, we can deduce that the Vivo Watch could be equipped with a round display with a speedometer that surrounds the frame. In addition, two buttons are located on the right side of the watch, while the left one has no buttons.
The rear section of the smartwatch has sensors (which should be used to monitor heart rate) and two contact pins, which should serve as a hook for charging the battery.
From the images, it seems that the smartwatch of the Chinese company will present quick release straps and this means that Vivo could make available to users replaceable straps of different materials, designs, and colors. From what we can see, there is no doubt about the willingness of the Asian brand to offer a smartwatch that is very similar to a classic watch.
Although the patent of Vivo’s alleged smartwatch has been approved in China, the Vivo Watch brand has appeared on a number of certification bodies, including the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) website, suggesting that the device will be available globally.
