A developer published a snapshot of Xiaomi Mi 6 with the ARM version of the operating system installed on it. According to him, a positive result was got by correcting the error of the memory leak. That led to the BSOD during previous attempts.
In fact, it is true, because another developer from Spain said that after these latest updates, Xiaomi Mi 6 can now also run Windows 10 on ARM.
In addition, the enthusiast, under the pseudonym Evsio0n, posted a photo of the Samsung Galaxy S8 on his Twitter blog, the display of which shows the installation process of the “tens”. He noted that gadgets with Snapdragon processors can easily launch a light version of Windows 10. The authors of the images have not yet published instructions for installing the desktop OS on smartphones.
However, although there have been breakthrough progress, the current project is still in the early stages. And cannot use touch screens, cameras, and many mobile phone sensors. So most of the system functions are not available. Projects like this may not make much sense, but some developers are also exploring dual boot options.
