Huawei is preparing to launch the Huawei P40 series for the global market on March 26. This series is the successor to the P30 series last year. Now an official poster of this series has exposed, with the slogan “Foresight”. Which focuses on the 52MP Leica image matrix.
Huawei P40 series will use the Leica matrix camera module. However, if you look closely at the back in the camera module, you will find some differences. The Huawei P40 will be equipped with triple rear cameras, while the P40 Pro and P40 Pro + will have a four and five rear cameras, respectively.
According to reports, the Penta camera version of the P40 Pro will come with a 52MP Sony IMX700 sensor. Measuring 1 / 1.28-inch RYYB + 40MP lens using a Sony IMX650 RGGB sensor sized 1 / 1.5 inch for angle Super wide shooting + 3x telephoto camera + prospective zoom lens supporting 10x hybrid zoom + ToF sensor. In addition, this camera cluster also includes a color temperature sensor, LED flash and recording mic. Huawei P40, meanwhile, appears to have omitted the 10x periscope zoom lens.
The rest of the specs include a curved screen on all four sides and use the “punched” design to accommodate the selfie camera. In addition, the new series all uses home-made Kirin 990 chipset and supports 5G connectivity.
These phones are expected to work on Android 10 when they ship, but won’t have Google services. Finally, the Huawei P40 series will include the color options Black, Blush Gold, Silver Frost, Deep Sea Blue, and Ice White when launched on March 26.
