Vivo‘s sub-brand iQOO has been promoting the iQOO 3 for several weeks. The company has confirmed that the device will be launched on February 25 in China, supports 5G connectivity and has quad-rear cameras, including the 48MP main camera.
Today, the vice president of IQOO Fengyu Fei has now confirmed on Weibo that the next-gen iQOO will use the Snapdragon 865 chip, new generation LPDDR5 RAM memory similar to the newly launched Galaxy S20, and UFS 3.1 memory. Obviously, iQOO has brought all the advanced things of the Android world to iQOO 3.
With the above configuration, iQOO 3 will be one of the best performing smartphones on the market. Of course, the hardware is one thing, the rest depends on the optimization of the software.
In other ways, iQOO 3 has a 6.44-inch S-AMOLED display. It will be a perforated screen that offers 1080 x 2400 pixels Full HD + resolution, 20: 9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. Like all previous iQOO phones, iQOO 3 is said to be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The iQOO 3 with Snapdragon 865 mobile platform is expected to reach the Chinese markets in RAM options such as 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM.
The iQOO 3 is powered by a 4410mAh battery. The 3C listing on the phone had revealed that it would ship with a 55W fast charger. It would have a 16MP front camera. The back cover of the device has a 48MP quad-camera system. IQOO is also expected to present a 4G phone in India. The phone can arrive on a different date than the iQOO 5G. It is expected to come with high-end specifications and could be priced less than Rs. 35,000 (about $491).
