OnePlus 7T was launched on the market in two color variations, Glacier Blue and Frosted Silver, which were not the only ones taken into consideration by the manufacturer.
Hao Ran, a OnePlus designer, in the past few hours has, in fact, revealed what should be one of the chromatic variants of OnePlus 7T tested by the Chinese manufacturer before the launch of the smartphone and whose official name seems to be Natural Marble. This new variant of OnePlus 7T has a whitish hue and is equipped with a texture that makes it look like marble.
Recall that OnePlus 7T was launched in September 2019 in several markets including the US and India. It features a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED screen with a Gorilla Glass 5 topping on it. The OnePlus 7T is the first new phone to run Android 10 out of the box.
It’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855+ processor which is coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage., and it has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gameplay. There’s a small waterdrop cutout at the top, making room for the 16MP front-facing camera.
OnePlus has rearranged the camera array on the OnePlus 7T, placing then horizontally on the back inside a circle. There are three cameras: A 48MP main, 12MP telephoto, and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle.
There’s also a new macro mode for taking photos up to 2.5cm away from the subject — something most smartphones struggle with without external lenses and accessories built specifically for macro shots. The OnePlus 7T uses OnePlus’ Warp Charge 30T fast-charging tech to reportedly charge the OnePlus 7T from empty to 70% battery in 30 minutes.
The Natural Marble variant of OnePlus 7T is unlikely to be actually marketed by the Chinese manufacturer. But who knows, maybe in the future OnePlus could make us a surprise.
