Although all eyes seem to be on the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra, the truth is that the already known details about the new Galaxy Z Flip draw it as one of the most interesting folding phones we have seen to date.
After allowing us to take a thorough look at some of its features, XDA-Developers editor Max Weinbach has decided to share even more information about the new South Korean folding phone. This source ensures that the device will have a side fingerprint reader and that its photographic system will consist of two main 12MP sensors.
One of the confirmed novelties would be the inclusion of a “mini-screen” of 1 inch –or of 0.1, has not been confirmed–, which would serve to display information when the phone is closed, such as the charging speed of Battery. In that sense, it is ensured that the terminal has a 15W fast charge and wireless charging with support for reverse wireless charging.
So Galaxy Z Flip the capacitive fingerprint scanner on the side. Dual 12MP cameras, wide and ultra-wide. 15W charging. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are supported. It is also indicated that, unlike the Samsung Galaxy Fold, the new Galaxy Z Flip would have an ultra-thin glass panel designed to cover the 6.7-inch main screen. However, the source points out that even this material would not prevent the appearance of a “wrinkle” in the central part of the panel when it is open.
On the other hand, Weinbach says that the Galaxy Z Flip will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ platform and that its main screen will make use of the Dynamic AMOLED technology that debuted last year alongside the Samsung Galaxy S10.
