Up to 6GB of RAM, we could see in the future iPhone 12 of this 2020 according to analysts Timothy Arcuri and Munjal Shah of the UBS agency. Not only this, but we would be before the presentation of 4 models of a different range that would see the light simultaneously, something that Apple had not done yet to date.
As indicated by Arcuri and Shah, Apple’s lineup for this year would consist of 4 variants of the iPhone, the smallest of 5.4 inches, the two intermediate 6.1 and the upper 6.7. Within these sizes we would have different configurations from less to more, starting with 2 cameras and 4GB of RAM for the smallest model and the simplest variant of the 6.1 models. The highest-end models would be a superior 6.1-inch iPhone model and the top of the range with the 6.7 model, both with a triple camera system and 6GB of RAM.
What if it would be updated for all models this year would be the use of OLED screens instead of using LCD panels for the “non-pro” range and OLED for higher models. In addition to this we would have a minimum of 5G in the top-of-the-range models.
Endorsing this, the UBS agency has also conducted a survey in several countries with traditionally strong markets for the iPhone and 22% of those asked have confirmed that they would see the inclusion of 5G in their devices to update them as a determining factor.
These statements would corroborate the leaks and reports of analysts that we have had to date, starting with the proposal of cameras that Ming-Chi Kuo indicated last month and the prediction of Barclays analysts about the 6GB of RAM. Little by little, the new iPhone of this 2020 will be forming on the horizon, but we will have to wait much longer until its presentation, presumably in September 2020 as every year.
