NIFT entrance exams are conducted every year by the National Institute of Fashion Technology. This entrance test is organised to offer candidates admission into Bachelors of Fashion Technology, Master of Design, Master of Fashion Management, Bachelors of Design, Master of Fashion Technology etc.

NIFT 2020 Application Form
The notification was released on the official website of NIFT on October 22, 2019 and the registration process has begun on October 23, 2019. Candidates can submit their applications till December 31, 2019. However, they can still submit their application form by paying a late fee of Rs. 5000 till January 4, 2020. The candidates need to apply for NIFT 2020 through the online mode.

The registration process includes steps such as online registration, filling up essential detail, uploading documents and payment of application fee.

The NIFT Authority allows the candidates to make corrections in the application form.

The candidates can make the payment for the application fee both in online and offline mode.

In the case of online payments, the candidates can pay by using debit cards, credit cards or through the net banking facility.

For offline payments, the candidates have to send the duly filled in application form along with the application fee through demand draft.

The application fees for the candidates belonging to the General/ OBC-NCL candidates is Rs. 2000 and the ones belonging to SC/ST and PwD categories need to pay Rs. 1000.
NIFT 2020 Exam Pattern
In NIFT 2020, the candidates will be tested on various topics such as Analytical and Logical Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Quantitative ability, Current affairs and General Awareness. Exam Date and Mode: NIFT will conduct its exam in offline mode and the exam will be conducted on 19th January 2020.

Type and Number of Question: The pattern of the question paper is done on the basis of multiple choice question and the number of question may vary for various programmes.

Eligibility Criteria for NIFT 2020
Before applying for admission the candidates must go through the following eligibility criteria:
Age Criteria
The upper age limit is 23 years for UG programmes as on October 1, 2019. However, there is an age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST. There is no lower or upper age limit for PG Admissions.
Age Criteria for B.F.Tech

Exam Qualification Required – Candidates appearing for this exam should have completed there higher secondary from a recognized institution or university.

Qualifying Subjects – To appear for this exam candidates must qualify with Physics, Maths and Chemistry in their higher secondary level.
Age Criteria for B.Des Programme

Exam Qualification Required – Candidates appearing for this exam should have completed there higher secondary from a recognized institution or university.
Age Criteria for M.F.Tech Programme

Exam Qualification Required – In order to appear for this exam, candidates must complete there Bachelor Degree in F.Tech from NIFT or with B.Tech from a recognised institute or university.
Age Criteria for M.Des Programme

Candidates who have completed their Bachelor Degree from a recognized university or institute can apply for this exam. It is also applicable for those who have completed their UG Diploma in UG Design from NID or NIFT.
