According to Samsung news leaker Ice Universe, the Galaxy S11 series would have two possible announcement dates in 2020: February 11 or 18, the latter being the most likely day for the official showing. The information was posted on Twitter’s leaky profile and does not reveal any other details about the alleged schedule.
As one of the most anticipated lines next year, the Galaxy S11 has had other aspects of its configurations and design published on the internet. On the hands of OnLeaks, known for anticipating mobile industry information, smartphone renderings reveal a screen with curved edges and a front sensor positioned like a hole in the top center.
In turn, Ice Universe recently pointed out what the device display dimensions would be: between 6.3″ and 6.4 for the basic variant; 6.7″ or 6.9″ for S11E and S11 + editions.
In the back, there would be a camera quartet under a rectangular space. If this look were confirmed, Samsung would indeed bring a very different conceptual proposition than what we have seen in the family of phones. As for the specs, chances are the Galaxy S11 series will be equipped with a Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 processor – a choice that will depend on the launch market. As with the current Galaxy S10, one or more variants with 5G technology are likely to arrive.
In terms of camera capabilities, the rear set should feature Samsung’s own ISOCELL Bright HMX 108MP main sensor. It is also speculated that this feature yields higher captures than those found in the top of the line Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and the conceptual Mi Mix Alpha, which have the same resolution capability. Ice Universe had also revealed in another tweet that the Galaxy S11‘s photographic sensor group will be one of the best created by the South Korean giant.
