In November, Realme confirmed that the X50 will be the company’s first smartphone with 5G support (it was promised compatibility with networks with a non-autonomous NSA and autonomous SA architectures, as well as work in the frequency range below 6 GHz). The first teaser released by the company confirmed that the phone will be equipped with a dual-camera perforated display. And now the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed that the Realme X50 5G will run on the Snapdragon 765G mobile platform.
Due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G mid-range chip with an integrated 5G modem, the phone is expected to arrive in China at an attractive price. The upcoming Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G and Redmi K30 Pro 5G are also equipped with the same single-chip system. But Realme X50 5G will compete primarily with the Redmi K30 Pro 5G since the latter has a similar display design.
The Realme X50 5G is expected to feature a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The smartphone can get a 64MP camera Sony IMX686 in conjunction with an ultra-widescreen 8MP and two secondary 2MP modules. The front camera is a bunch of 32MP and 8MP sensors. The device should receive a 4500mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge high-speed charging technology, up to 12GB of RAM and a drive with a capacity of up to 256GB.
The company will also release the Realme X50 Youth Edition along with the Realme X50. The smartphone will receive a simpler 6.55-inch IPS display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a MediaTek MT6885 5G chip. The rear camera will be equipped with 16MP, 8MP, 2MP and 2MP modules, and the front – with a single 32MP. The device allegedly gets a 5000mAh battery with support for VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge, up to 6GB of RAM and a drive with a capacity of up to 128GB.
