After the many reports of recent weeks, often related to beta versions, the rollout of MIUI 11 Global Stabile has officially begun for the devices included in the first wave of updates. Today, the Xiaomi goes one step ahead by releasing stable firmware to more devices.
According to Xiaomi’s official MIUI India Twitter account, the company has started releasing this update for Redmi 6, 6A and Redmi 5A. While on Mi Forums, the many users of these phones in India have posted the screenshots of receiving this latest MIUI 11 update.
Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A
Based on the screenshots, the Redmi 6 is getting the update with version number MIUI 11.0.1.0.PCBMIXM and its file size is about 508MB. On the other side, the Redmi 6A update weighs about 517MB. The MIUI 11 update also brings along the October 2019 Android security patch, and we recommend all users to download it as soon as they get the update.
Redmi 5A
According to the screenshot by users, the MIUI 11 version of the Redmi 5A is MIUI V11.0.2.0.OCKMIXM and its file size is 476MB.
If you have not got yet on the above-mentioned Smartphones, you will receive the update on very soon. And if you have to receive an OTA notification or you can check it manually by heading to Settings > Update and Check your update.
Most of the older devices have been already covered, even about 3 years old Redmi Note 4 also gained this update recently. To recall, MIUI 11 brings several new features such as system based dark mode, minimalistic design, floating calculator, wireless printing, Mi Doc Viewer, Mi share and many more.
