Last week, information leaked to the network that Xiaomi will release a new model of the Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone with a chip like the Mi Note 10. It turned out to be not so. Today, Fans of the company “filled up” with questions the head of the Redmi division, Lu Weibing, about the novelty in the Weibo social network.
As we can see in the above screenshot, a Weibo user asked whether an advanced version of the Redmi Note 8 Pro featuring Snapdragon 730G, 27W fast charging and in-display fingerprint reader exist. Lu Weibing replied by saying no. This information was also confirmed by Xiaomi Chief Marketing Officer Anuj Sharma on Twitter.
Specifically, a famous leaker named Xiaomishka recently found a mysterious device in the database of the Chinese 3C certification agency. The device has model numbers M1912G7BE and M1912G7BC, which is said to be the Snapdragon 730G version of the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Currently, the above information has been rejected and this makes the device’s exact name a different mystery.
Many people believe that it could be the Pocophone F2 because the predecessor of the Pocophone F1 was launched long ago. On the other hand, the previous Pocophone F1 was not sold in China but only sold in international markets. Of course, we still need to wait for more information about this phone in the future.
