Continuing to expand its diverse product portfolio, Xiaomi recently introduced an induction cooker in China, called the Mijia Induction Cooker C1. The newly launched device is the successor to the Mijia induction cooker originally launched in 2017 and is quite popular.
In terms of appearance, the Mijia C1 electric cooker has a rectangular design, different from its circular predecessor. The surface of the stove is made of microcrystalline cellulose, with a thickness of 5mm and withstands high temperatures up to 500 degrees C.
Compared to competitors in the same price range, which has only one coil, Xiaomi ‘s products have many heating coils that are stacked on top of each other, helping to heat evenly and provide a better dining experience for people use.
Mijia C1 induction hob is rated for up to 2,100W. It supports 7 heating levels and 6 different cooking modes. It has a large 7-leaf fan that can quickly dissipate heat generated from the coils through the bottom air vents, extending its life. Xiaomi claims this product can be used continuously for 4 hours and that is the time some soups need to cook properly.
According to Xiaomi, the kitchen from Mijia C1 also has a built-in safety system with 5 times more protection than normal, as well as an internal temperature sensor. As soon as the appliance exceeds the permissible temperature, the hob automatically pauses the heating coil’s power to automatically protect the user from any risk of fire. It is known that the Mijia Induction Cooker C1 is being opened for sale on Xiaomi Mall with a quite attractive price, only 119 yuan (about $17).
