It’s not a secret those who spend a lot of time outdoors for sports and work, need a durable and cheap smartphone. And it is probably for this reason that, in recent years, Doogee has managed to establish itself in the field of rugged. The Chinese company has staked everything on the quality of its products in addition to a careful choice of materials, each device of the brand is subjected to numerous tests before being marketed. And this is especially true for “armored” smartphones that have to withstand the toughest “survival” tests. Doogee recently launched its latest Modular rugged phone, the S95 Pro. Rugged phones are known for their strength and performance under extreme conditions and to prove that the Doogee S95 Pro may well be the reigning king of rugged phones this year, the company has shared some video of the test carried out on the phone.
As you can see for yourselves, the Doogee S95 Pro has no problem with the Anti Mud Test, Anti Oil Paint Test, and Anti High Air Pressure Test. It seems that apart from its good design, the rugged abilities are intact.
Doogee S95 Pro will be better than the previous model with an SoC MediaTek Helio P90, an octa-core with two high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 cores, six cores Low power ARM Cortex-A55 and an IMG PowerVR GM9446 GPU, for 50% faster performance than previous Helio P60 / P70 processors. Onboard also 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.0 memory.
Also, this smartphone will be armored, waterproof and resistant to falls and dust, with an AI triple-camera on the back composed of a 48MP main sensor, a wide-angle and a depth camera. The 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor not only has a high number of pixels but also 1/2 inch and large 1.6μm pixels (via pixel binning), features that have contributed to the first position on DxOmark.
Obviously Doogee S95 Pro will also be modular and – as far as we know – a module would have already been confirmed: 27 nm dual-speaker HiFi (6W) made of a soft-touch material with an ergonomic design to improve the grip and battery integrated by 3500 mAh to extend the autonomy of the smartphone by 80% (about 10 hours more). And in this regard, the Doogee S95 Pro will be equipped with a 5150 mAh battery which should guarantee good working efficiency and fast 24W recharge (against 10W of the extra battery).
At present, the Giveaway Campaign seems to be held on the Doogee website, Doogee S95 Pro will be given free of charge. If you are interested, why not join? What’s more, it seems that the phone features excellent build quality and the display is bright and vivid. Stay tuned on Doogee official website or Facebook to learn more about the first sale.
