Meizu 16T is the name of the next smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer, which starts popping up on the net with the first information coming from the AnTuTu benchmark. It should be a top of the range, however, the only certain information comes from a shared teaser via Weibo, which confirms the presentation date, scheduled for October 23rd.
It is the first time that this smartphone is spoken expressly and its passage on AnTuTu is therefore useful to discover some details on the technical sector. Meizu 16T was in fact identified with the initials m1928 – the same previously sighted in a TENAA certification – the score obtained is not the highest ever achieved by a Meizu terminal, Meizu 16s Pro was, in fact, able to do better thanks to the new Snapdragon 855+ however, there is no doubt that this is a high-end smartphone.
With a total score of 418.909, the Meizu 16T gets a result in line with that of other devices based on Snapdragon 855. The benchmark also confirms some details on the memory allocation, including 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, the presence of a display with FullHD resolution + 2232 x 1080 pixels and the Android 9 Pie operating system.
No information is provided about cameras and battery. From these first data, Meizu 16T should represent the direct successor of Meizu 16s presented on April 23rd, while the highest end of the catalog is up to the 16s Pro introduced for about a month.
