Xiaomi has scheduled an event for September 24 in which the company will launch some products, including the Mi MIX Alpha and Mi 9 Pro 5G smartphones, the MI TV Pro 8K TV, as well as the latest MIUI 11.
More recently, the company has suggested that the Mi Mix Alpha will arrive with an integrated front camera under the screen, which will give the phone a screen-to-body ratio close to 100% and it was a folding smartphone, but it really isn’t. it seems that the phone has a curved screen around the edges, similar to the waterfall design of the Mate 30 Pro or Vivo NEX 3.
Now, Xiaomi has shared a new promotional image on Weibo that confirms one of the main features of the smartphone: the 100MP camera sensor. The company states that, while currently, the highest-resolution sensor of a smartphone is 64MP, the Mi MIX Alpha will arrive with a 100MP sensor.
The smartphone will come equipped with the Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX camera sensor that supports a resolution of 108MP. This will be the second such collaboration between Samsung and Xiaomi after both companies recently joined to launch the Redmi Note 8 Pro with 64MP ISOCELL GW1 sensor of Samsung.
The company has also shared a photograph taken using the Mi MIX Alpha smartphone, which it will capture at a resolution of 12032 x 9024 pixels and each image will be approximately 40MB in size. It states that even after enlarging the photo eight times, the details are preserved and the image remains sharp.
The previously filtered information related to the Mi MIX Alpha reveals that the phone will come with a 2K 90Hz display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor with up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
