While Xiaomi is preparing for the presentation of the flagship Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G, information has appeared on the network about the imminent announcement of several more company innovations.
Our colleagues from XDA-Developers noticed three smartphones of the Chinese manufacturer in the database of the Thai NBTC regulator: Mi 9 Lite, Redmi 8A and Redmi 8. The devices pass under the code numbers M1904F3BG, M1908C3KG, and M1908C3IG, respectively.
The certification did not disclose the characteristics of the new products, but thanks to previous leaks, they are already known. Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite will become the global version of Xiaomi CC9. The device will receive an FHD + AMOLED screen with an integrated scanner, a Snapdragon 710 processor, 6GB of RAM, NFC, a 48MP triple camera and a 4030mAh battery with fast charging and a USB-C port.
Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A will be the successors of Redmi 7 and Redmi 7A. The regular version of the smartphone will be equipped with an unknown chip with a clock frequency of 2 GHz, 2/3/4GB of RAM, 16/32/64GB of ROM, a dual camera and a display with HD + resolution. Redmi 8A will feature a weaker chipset.
Previously, all three new products will debut in late September or early October. They are likely to be presented at various presentations. There is no information about Redmi Note 8 Pro yet, but after the hype around Redmi Note 7 Pro, the manufacturer will probably decide this time to bring all models to the global market. Recall that yesterday the Xiaomi announced the world’s first fast wireless charging with a power of 30 watts.
