Xiaomi has officially unveiled a new line of Redmi Note 8 smartphones. In addition to the basic version, it includes the Pro model which becomes the first smartphone in the world with a 64-megapixel camera using Samsung’s GW1 64MP sensor with MediaTek’s latest Helio G90T chipset.
Let’s check out its details,the Redmi Note 8 Pro brings a 6.53-inch wide screen FullHD + resolution with the LCD panel. Because it uses an LCD panel, this phone does not carry a fingerprint sensor inside the screen.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro fingerprint sensor is placed on the back of the device, side by side with four camera configurations arranged vertically. One camera on the back of the Redmi Note 8 Pro has a resolution of 64MP. This camera has an ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor from Samsung and carries quad-binning pixel technology.
While the other three cameras carry an 8MP wide-angle sensor, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro lens. While on the front, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is equipped with a selfie camera with a 20MP sensor and f / 2.0 aperture lens.
In addition to being the first cellphone with a 64MP camera, this phone is also Xiaomi’s first smartphone to use a gaming SoC specifically. Redmi Note 8 Pro uses MediaTek chipset output, the Helio G90T. This chipset is paired with two choices of RAM, namely 6GB or 8GB, with 64GB and 128GB storage capacity. While the operating system uses Android 9.0 Pie modified with MIUI 10.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro battery has a capacity of 4500mAh with 18W fast charging technology and fast charging via a USB-C input. The latter is centered between a 3.5mm headphone jack (the popular “P2”) and the speakers, as well as an NFC module which is also for the first time in the Redmi line.
In addition, it is special, this phone is equipped with a liquid cooling system (liquid) that serves to stabilize the temperature of the chipset when used when playing games.
Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with three color choices namely black, green and white. The price of Redmi Note 8 Pro is priced at 1399 yuan ($195) for the 6GB / 64GB version, 6GB / 128GB variant price is 1599 yuan ($223) and 1799 Yuan ($251) for the 8GB / 128GB version.
Xiaomi has also announced a World of Warcraft special edition of its Redmi Note 8 Pro and the arrival of a dedicated accessory to the game. It will be sold separately at a price of 179 yuan ($25). Not yet known when Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro will visit the other market.
