Just yesterday, we reported about the Honor 20S because it looked in the Google Play Console and today, the Chinese company has published a promotional poster on Weibo. In the image, we can see the announcement of the Honor 20S, a new variant that will be located between the Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Pro.
The image reveals the launch for next September 4 at 7:30 pm in Wuhan, China. A strange date considering that on the 6th the IFA starts in Berlin. However, the company could announce this smartphone globally at the most important technology fair in Europe.
The poster also reveals an image of the Honor 20S with a design very similar to the rest of the family terminals; Crystal rear with triple or quad camera, LED flash and Honor logo. The reader can be on the side or integrated into the screen.
This model was seen a few days ago on the official Android page, where some of the technical features were revealed. The most interesting is that it will arrive with Android 10 Q as standard. The final version will be released in the next 3 of September, one day before Honor announces this device.
While EMUI is not yet in beta, the 20S could be launched later with a final version. Beyond the Android version, the terminal will have a 6-inch screen. It will also have an 8GB RAM, as well as 128 or 256GB of internal storage. There are no details of the processor, but it could mount a Kirin 810, or the Kirin 890 used by the Huawei P30.
We will probably see not only the Honor 20S but also the Honor 20 SE which model will probably be the new entry-level model of the 20 series.
