Next week, Oppo will launch the Reno 2 smartphone in India which will be the first market in the world to get the Reno 2. And today, the Chinese firm has disclosed its launching date for China. As you can see in the below teaser video of the brand which has confirmed that Reno 2 will be launched on September 10 and the event will take place at 10:00 AM in Shanghai China.
Another teaser video shows that the smartphone will be releasing in China in 2 colors like Ocean Heart Blue and Mist Pink. While the Reno 2 will be coming in India in 2 colors like Ocean Blue and Luminous Black.
Recently, the smartphone received certification from TENAA with the model number PCKM00 and PCKT00. The TENAA listing shows that the Oppo Reno 2 will be available in 2 storage variants, as there were two nearly-identical devices certified with 128GB and 256GB internal storage.
The listing also shows that Reno 2 will come with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution without a display notch of any sorts, just like its predecessor. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
It will carry forward the ‘shark fin’ motorized pop-up selfie camera legacy from the original Reno that will host a 16MP sensor. The back has gone under the knife, as the company previously confirmed the presence of quad cameras there. We can expect a 48MP primary accompanied by a 13MP telephoto, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensor.
The battery capacity is expected to be around 4000mAh and the 3C listing reveals the Reno 2 will ship with a 20W fast charger. It will run Oppo’s latest ColorOS 6 UI running atop Android Pie 9 OS. Besides, the phone appears to have the dimensions of 160×74.3×9.5mm and weighs 189 grams as well as the Black, Pink, and Green color options.
