Today, Xiaomi has finally launched its latest smartphone Mi A3 in India, which was originally announced back in July for China. Its key highlight is Stock Android UI on the top, which gives guarantee for latest updates directly delivered from Google. Besides, the rest of the specs are ordinary considering the price bracket.
Note that the Mi A3 is the international version of the Xiaomi CC9e released in China. That is, the specifications are almost identical: the screen has HD + resolution with a pixel density of only 286 ppi; This is a PenTile matrix AMOLED panel with fewer subpixels than a normal RGB LCD.
Inside we have the Snapdragon 665 octa-core intermediate processor coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. it has a 4030mAh battery with fast charging support of up to 18W; the charger in the box is 10W. All the other essential features are included such as Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and an infrared port.
When it comes to cameras, the Xiaomi Mi A3 comes with three sensors at the rear, including a 48MP camera made by Sony. The 32MP front camera promises sharper dark selfies by grouping four pixels into one; She gets a notch on the screen.
One of the highlights is the Android One program: Mi A3 runs a pure version of Android 9 Pie – instead of MIUI – and has two-year guaranteed version upgrades for Android Q and R; in addition to receiving security patches from Google for three years.
The Xiaomi Mi A3 will be available in India in three colors with Google Pixel-inspired nomenclature: Not Just Blue, Kind of Gray and More Than White. There will be two RAM and storage variants: 4 + 64GB for 12,999 rupees (about $181) and 6 + 128GB for 15,999 rupees (equal to $222). Apart from this, those paying with HDFC card will also get the benefit of up to Rs 1000.
All the variants will start selling from August 23 from different platforms such as Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and Amazon.in. The device is also said to be available via offline stores without confirming the exact date.
