The list of Android Enterprise Recommended smartphones has replenished with the not yet officially presented smartphone Huawei Nova 5T, so we can get reliable data on the design and characteristics of the upcoming new product.
Recall, Android Enterprise Recommended is a certification program for Android smartphones for corporate clients. To get on this list, the device must meet certain requirements, including good autonomy and guaranteed security updates within 90 days from the date of their release for at least three years. Actually, Android Enterprise Recommended smartphones are devices that Google considers the most suitable for employees of large companies.
So, now it’s clear that the Huawei nova 5T is not just a renamed version of the current flagship smartphone Honor 20, as previously thought, but, attention, a more compact model with large amounts of memory.
Huawei nova 5T received a 5.5-inch display. For comparison, the Honor 20 is equipped with a 6.26-inch screen. The front camera is embedded in the active area of the display in the upper left part, so the frames around the screen are very thin. That is, it will be a compact device by modern standards.
Huawei Nova 5T, a promising new product has every chance of success, since it is likely to become one of the most compact flagship of the new generation. If the Honor 20 is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of flash memory, then for the Nova 5T, 8GB of RAM and 128-256GB of flash memory are declared. That is, the platform is exactly the SoC Kirin 980. The image clearly shows that the fingerprint scanner will be located on the side.
There are no complete specifications for the new product yet, but now we can confidently talk about the triple main camera, given the similarities with Honor 20, and the NFC module for contactless payments, which is so important for many.
The date of August 13 is shown on the smartphone screen, but today we have August 16, so it certainly has nothing to do with the date of the announcement of the new item. But this event is clearly not far off, given the appearance of new items in the Android Enterprise Recommended list.
