Xiaomi continues to improve its MIUI layer and good proof of it we showed you yesterday with the addition of quick functions, shortcuts, and sharing of apps that you can already try. But this is not all since a functionality that we talked about earlier in an article has begun to reach the Chinese beta Version 9.8.10 of MIUI.
Xiaomi has developed a super saving mode that allows the smartphone to have less than 10% battery change radically our desktop leaving the basic applications in case we need to communicate with someone in case of emergency and thus make the battery last longer.
When the power saving mode is activated, only the services of text message apps and some messaging applications are available, which greatly increases the battery life.
This saving mode enables the dark mode of MIUI, deactivates the applications that are working behind in the background, deactivates the GPS location, vibration, display of the screen of interest, disables the apps and completely changes the interface, leaving the apps necessary to “survive in case we need help from our contacts.”
With this functionality, Xiaomi says that a smartphone that enters super battery saving mode can be up to 33 hours on with only 10% battery.
This super saving mode is very good if we need to extend the battery of our smartphone due to needs that do not allow us to charge our smartphone normally. This function is still in the development ROM. We hope to see it soon on Xiaomi smartphones with an update in the Global ROM, for this there will still be a few months.
