This year we saw two Smartphones coming from OPPO and Huawei with a periscope camera. The company Xiaomi has received a patent for another smartphone with a periscope camera. As always, Xiaomi is not going to lag behind the fashion trend and is preparing its new flagship with a periscope camera.
The periscope camera we see in the Huawei P30 Pro is a type of camera that improves both photography and zooming as much as possible when shooting with phone cameras. After Huawei uses this camera in the P30 Pro, Xiaomi seems to want to be part of the fury.
A patent was filed with WIPO with detailed images of the front and rear cameras located on the new smartphone. It houses a pop-up front camera and four rear sensors, the uppermost of which is obviously a square module, usually seen as a periscope camera.
On the right side are buttons for adjusting the volume and power, and on the left-tray for SIM-cards. At the bottom are the USB Type-C port and speaker grill. The front part is completely occupied by the screen, obviously, this is all the remarkable information that we have at the moment.
Interestingly, Xiaomi also received a similar patent from the State Intellectual Property Office in China last month. However, this does not mean that we should see a new periscope camera on the upcoming Xiaomi flagship, but there are chances. Most likely it will be Mi MIX 4, which can receive the latest developments of the company.
