Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are two of the most anticipated smartphones for 2019 and various information about them already circulating on the Internet. However, there were still certain details that remained in the shadows, piquing the curiosity of the market. But according to 9to5google, a “trusted source” has revealed very interesting features, including features like the 90hz display refresh rate.
The site reports that Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will have 5.7 and 6.3 inches of OLED screen respectively – which is in line with previous leaks – so the smaller one will feature Full HD+ resolution, while the largest will be Quad HD +.
These screens will come at a frequency of 90 Hz, the technology of which will be affectionately dubbed “Smooth Display” by the search giant. If the information is true, it means that the Pixel 4 and 4 XL will join devices like OnePlus 7 and Razer Phone 2, which also have this refresh rate.
The Pixel line has been widely praised for the quality of the photos captured by its lenses and, apparently, they may end up getting even better, as the source would have said this year’s electronics will come with two image sensors on the back.
One will have 12MP with autofocus and face detection, while the other will be a 16MP telephoto lens. Another interesting detail is that Google would be developing an accessory with functions similar to a DSLR camera for Pixel 4, which can be released together with the device.
Both Pixel 4 and its larger version will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset and batteries of 2800mAh and 3700mAh respectively, together with 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. As usual, they will still feature stereo speakers and the Titan M security module, which was introduced in Pixel 3 to deliver greater protection to user data.
Remember that while 9to5google said it was a reliable source that brought this information, nothing has been confirmed by Google, and we have to wait until October when the company’s annual event will take place and, most likely, where the New smartphones.
