The IFA 2019 in less than a month should be an exciting event again for Sony fans. As every year, the Japanese manufacturer is represented there. And will again have a new flagship in the luggage. After part of its design revealed by a leak, the Xperia 2 again had alleged renderings released in the international press. This time, the images belong to a cover maker who dropped the material early on the web.
With this, we can highlight that the renderings reinforce the design presented earlier and also confirm that the Xperia 2 is very similar to its predecessor. The biggest difference between them appears to be just the camera module location.
Indiashopps, which is responsible for the leak, also confirmed that Xperia 2 should be made official with a 21: 9 screen format, which appealed to many consumers on Xperia 1.
At the rear of the phone, we have a module in the upper left corner where you can see three cameras. In addition, above it, there is also an LED flash. Already on the right side are the volume buttons, fingerprint sensor and what appears to be a dedicated button for triggering the camera.
The front part retains the traditional pattern Sony already uses and leaves out any notches or holes for camera accommodation. The Japanese giant has also recently registered the Sony S-Cinentone trademark with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
Judging by the images, the smartphone will not get a 3.5-mm audio jack: owners will have to use an adapter or wireless headphones to listen to music. They promise a traditional fingerprint scanner on the right side, a USB Type-C port on the bottom.
For now, it is still unclear where the company intends to use this name as there is no description in the records. Anyway, everything points out that this must be a new feature of the new Xperia 2‘s triple cameras. It should be noted that, despite not having a release date set, this device can be announced in IFA 2019.
