Industry sources have announced that Xiaomi will shortly launch the third generation of its gaming laptop, we talk about the Mi Gaming Laptop 3, a team that now points to a higher segment integrating the latest Intel processors with the range graphics Nvidia GeForce GTX and GeForce RTX series media.
As a processor, it is logical that we could be facing some 8th Generation Intel Core, although for the 9th Generation it has been available for months, it is not interesting to make the leap in terms of price/performance, not to mention that to play 1080p, with one of these processors is already more than enough, unless we install a’ CPU dependent ‘ game and we want to choose option B of the panel, which translates into an IPS panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
With regard to graphic power, there is talk that you can choose between the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti , more than enough to play any game at 1080p @ 60 FPS with Ultra graphics, or with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 for those users In addition to a plus of power they want to experiment with RayTracing technology. RAM memory, the logical thing is to have a model that starts from 8GB, SSD storage.
It is expected that the 16GB of RAM is also in this new version as well as a minimum 512GB of SSD storage and 1TB in HDD format. We would also see an i7 processor to accompany this hardware and offer a heart attack potential.
It is therefore expected that its price is higher than the currently existing version found near $1225 and riding a 1060 GTX with 60Hz full HD panel and 16GB of RAM.
At the moment there are no more details such as price or release date of this new version of Xiaomi gaming laptops. So, we will have to wait for the next few weeks for the team to become official and know its price and specifications in full.
