Recently, the Ice Universe leaker has published photos of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. They showed the edges of the screen clearly curved, but still hiding the part in which the front camera is located. This, of course, sparked speculation about whether there was a notch and what it would look like.

Thanks to Slashleaks, now we can have clarity because they have published a photo of the supposed front panel of the P30 Pro.
It’s not a look that involves a unibody glass case and no buttons, but we have a display with lateral edges more curve than ever before. First of all, we see a Huawei Mate 30 Pro front panel photo that really confirms this design approach, the edges being extremely curved. We also have narrow edges up and down if you look at the picture carefully.
The following material shows us the screensaver for the future flagship of Huawei and we find out that the cutting out of the upper area is not forever – there are numerous cuts for sensors, selfie cameras, and probably earpiece. In the photo below we see in more detail how curved these side edges are, as close as 90 degrees.
We look forward to a very generous body-to-screen ratio and a truly unique design. Everything will have an aesthetic role, of course, and most likely Huawei will provide a feature here to avoid accidental touching on the curves of the screen. Last but not least, we’re looking at a photo that seems to show off at first glance the display + touchscreen assembly.
It seems certain that the camera module of the Mate 30 Pro is round and that the individual lenses are arranged in an X-shape. In addition, the Mate 30 Pro will probably have four cameras. Most likely they have been developed again in collaboration with camera manufacturer Leica. However, precise data on the camera of Huawei’s next flagship is not yet available.
In addition, the Kirin 985 must be installed as a processor with up to 12GB of RAM and ultra-fast charging batteries. There could also be a 5G variant. Another interesting question is what operating system is installed on the smartphone.
Now that Huawei has become the target of US sanctions, the question arises whether Huawei can continue to use Android. Supposedly, the Mate 30 Pro already uses Huawei’s own operating system. It is said to be compatible and even faster than Android.
