Not just a week ago, Xiaomi surprised us with the presentation of their new releases; the Xiaomi CC9 and the CC9e. Both devices were honored repeatedly by the global critic and left very good feelings among the first users.
With the launch of the CC9 series, the Chinese brought to MIUI beta a feature called “Sky”, which allows you to change the sky of photos to one of a set already pre-installed in the operating system. As a result, many have questioned whether this functionality will be released for more smartphones as well, and it has now been confirmed that it will also be available for Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro.
Who revealed this news was Lu Weibing, an executive of Xiaomi and Redmi, through his official profile on the Chinese social network Weibo. When released, simply select a photo with the sky in the gallery and choose the edit option. A filter list will be available, and there should be a button labeled “Sky”. Then all the skies available for exchange will be displayed.
It is not clear if the Redmi K20 Series itself will receive an update to get this new feature, or if only the gallery application will be updated. Anyway, at that moment it’s in beta, but in the next few days, it should be made available to the public in a stable way.
