The market for tablets certainly already attracts more of the audience. However, there are still some brands that make investments in the category, such as Samsung. A new Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is in the pipeline: we had already glimpsed it last month, but today there are more details on the next compact tablet of the South Korean company.
The new details on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2019) from 8 ″ come from WinFuture, according to which the two variants of the device would be identified by the codes SM-T290 and SM-T295: the tablet should be presented with a 16:10 LCD display with 1280 x 800-pixel resolution.
While under the hood it would integrate an SoC Snapdragon 429 with four ARM Cortex-A53 cores accompanied by 2GB of RAM and the internal memory should amount to 32GB but with the option to expand it via microSD.
The photographic sector is more than consistent with the tablet context: afterwards, there should be an 8MP sensor and in front of it a 2MP camera. On the connectivity front, we should find a Bluetooth 4.2 module, LTE support (for the version that provides it) and audio jack. The built-in battery would have a capacity of 5100mAh.
Dimensionally the tablet would have a thickness of 8mm for about 350 grams of weight. It would come with Android Pie pre-installed, and consequently the new Samsung One UI interface. These new versions of Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) will be presented according to the source in the two colors Black and Silver in the coming days. Still, all is silent about the launch period and price.
