We barely managed to inform about the existence of three models of the Xiaomi CC9 series, and we already have confirmation of this information from the Xiaomi website. In addition, the Chinese TENAA office already provides data for the other models of the series.
The existence of the third model, signed by Meitu, was confirmed by Lei Jun from Xiaomi. He wrote on Weibo that this model will receive special, developed by Meitu (a company known in China not only for unusual smartphones but also for selfie apps) beautification algorithms.
He added that the phone will receive a special housing color and memory 8 + 256GB – which shows that the rest of the specifications will be shared with the base model CC9. Unfortunately, it looks like we can forget about the tilted camera that we saw on the unofficial renderer.
And this, according to information obtained from the office of TENAA, Xiaomi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition is to have a 6.39-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution, with an integrated fingerprint reader. The heart of the phone will be a 2.8 GHz octa-core processor and it will probably be Snapdragon 730. The weight of the gadget is 179 grams and dimensions are 156.8 × 74.5 × 8.67 mm.
The fingerprint scanner will be built-in the screen as it is missing from the back. A few memory options are planned: 4 + 64, 6 + 128 and 8 + 256GB (the last one can be related to Meitu edition). The Xiaomi CC9 is to have a triple camera with a main matrix of 48MP and a front 32MP camera and a 3940mAh battery. The housing is to be available in black, white, red, blue, gray, green and purple-pink.
In the case of the Xiaomi CC9e, it is only known that the battery will be the same as in the Xiaomi CC9, while the screen will have a diagonal of 5.97 inches. If leaks occur at such a pace, we’ll find out everything before the release, which is scheduled for July 2.
