Last week, the leaker Max.J revealed that a smartphone Xperia with 6 photosensors in the back was in the boxes of Sony. A rendering of the 6 modules arranged in two rows of 3 sensors accompanied this leak. The leaker returns with more details on the sensors of this smartphone. For the moment, he still has no name.
The first row of sensors would align modules of 20MP, 48MP, and 16MP. The first sensor would have an F / 2.4 aperture, the second a variable aperture F / 1.2 and F / 2.4 as the Galaxy S10. The third sensor as far as it is concerned would have an F / 2.4 aperture.
As for the second row, the leak announces a module of 8MP (F / 2.4 aperture) at the top, followed by a 12MP sensor with a variable aperture of F / 1.2 and F /2.4. Finally, a 0.5MP ‘Time of Flight’ sensor will complete the loop.
For selfies, the new Xperia will have a dual sensor: one of 10MP accompanied by a TOF of 0.3MP. As you can see in the tweet below, the rendering of the smartphone shows that it will be equipped with a screen as long as the Xperia 1 with its 21: 9 ratio. There is also a safe bet that this new smartphone is the successor of the current high-end Sony.

The Xperia 1 is equipped with a triple photo sensor that offers good performance, as we have seen during our test. Sony is still a notch below the competition, including Huawei and Samsung on this ground. The model in preparation makes us very curious, even if the high number of sensors is not necessarily a guarantee of quality for the photos.
