Despite the vicissitudes of recent weeks, linked to the ban by the USA, Huawei would not have interrupted the development of EMUI 10, the interface based on Android Q.
He states it FunkyHuawei, a service that has offered the possibility of installing Huawei firmware for a while, which is already able to offer the new firmware for Huawei P30 Pro, in versions with integrated Google services, identified by the initials VOG-L29, VOG-L09, VOG-L04 and the like.
As reported by XDA Developers, which has been working with FunkyHuawei for some time, there are some considerations on ROM, which is currently a build reserved for internal tests. The SafetyNet test is not passed, and the device information still signals the paired EMUI 9.1 Android 9.
To properly boot the ROM must be installed via FunkyHuawei, therefore a factory reset and a new installation of the ROM must be performed, for which it is advisable to have a subscription to the service, decidedly more convenient from an economic point of view.
Recall that on the upgrade to EMUI 10 and Android Q hangs the sword of Damocles represented by the Huawei ban in the US, which effectively prevents American companies from collaborating with the Chinese company unless a special license is issued.
