Chuwi is one of the most active brands in the notebook market. The company has already prepared its new model, the MiniBook, which as they have confirmed is already going to be launched soon in the market. A laptop of reduced size, designed to be very easy to carry at all times with you. A different concept, but with which the brand hopes to obtain good results. Chuwi MiniBook which is ready to be launched on the INDIGOGO is portable as a smartphone. However, it is equipped with PC-level hardware while running the Windows 10 system. Let’s check out the Chuwi MiniBook video review:
According to the parameter, the size of the MiniBook is 201*128.6mm, which is 2.5 times smaller than average laptops of 300*210mm. In fact, the Chuwi MiniBook is totally unlike the “big and heavy” laptop but more like a MAX version of the phone. You can easily put it into your pocket and take it out when needed. Chuwi MiniBook also features a 360° YOGA design that can turn the tiny notebook into a standing tablet immediately. The keyboard is also multifunctional as it can be used as a bracket to support Chuwi MiniBook for switching between office work and entertainment modes.
Except for the pre-installed Win10 system, Chuwi MiniBook is also carried with Core 8th Gen M3-8100Y processor. Coupled with 8GB+128GB+M.2 PCI-e SSD storage, it becomes the most powerful pocket notebook and performs as well as those large-size laptops. As you can see from the video, Chuwi MiniBook runs very smoothly on editing Photoshop and loading documents/pictures. And it performs extremely well in running those games like “Asphalt: Heat” and “Modern Combat 5: Blackout”. Thanks to the YOGA form, it is possible to play the game by touching on the screen.
Chuwi Minibook will be sold in two variants, with internal storage space of 64 or 128 GB, and along the body, there will be a USB Type-C port, while internally an M.2 port will be available for the connection of a possible unit of additional storage. You can also see a full-size USB 3.0 port, a microSD reader and a 3.5 mm port for connecting earphones or external microphones. There will also be a mini-HDMI, at least based on the photos we have.
This new laptop Chuwi MiniBook will be available for purchase from mid-June and from the Indiegogo website at a price (already discounted) of $ 600. Particularly, it seems to us a high launch price, something to which the manufacturer has accustomed us. We will have to wait to see if its price really matches what it offers. If you register on the website of Chuwi you will get a 25% discount for the purchase of this computer.
