A new Xiaomi smartphone has passed certification in Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, and Russia. The Mi 9T should be the replacement for the Mi8 Pro, 2018, with some more powerful specs. Until then, the smartphones that make up the line are Mi 9 and Mi 9 SE, this new device should complement the family 9, as an improved option.
Rumors indicate that the Mi 9T must have many internal elements equal to the regular Mi 9. It is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm’s 5G SoC, the Snapdragon 855 and the main rear camera will also be 48MP. The 4000mAh battery comes with the latest technology and will be charged in 17 minutes.
The storage set for the Mi 9T should be the maximum capacity offered for the Mi 9, which is: 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This performance is double what was offered in the previous version of the smartphone, the Mi 8 Pro, which had 6GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage.
The sale of the Mi 9T must begin with the markets it has received the approval (Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, and Russia). Xiaomi has not yet decided on the new smartphone, so there is no way to know the date it will be released and the amount it will be charged. All the information is the result of speculation and some rumors, mainly coming from the homologation documents of the countries.
