The other day, in the hands of the CEO of Foxconn, some unknown smartphone was spotted and rumors immediately arose that this was the future iPhone 11. In fact, this is not the case, but now there are images of the dummies of two new Apple smartphones. They were published on the Chinese social network Weibo and can be used to create covers for the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max from third-party manufacturers.
Thanks to the photo you can see the square camera module in the upper left corner on the back of the case. Inside there are three cameras. There are versions that the main camera will be 14MP, another 10MP with a telephoto lens, and the third sensor of time-of-flight depth. It uses infrared light to measure the distance to objects. This allows you to accurately analyze the depth and is used in portrait shots with blurring the background and in augmented reality applications.
Earlier this month, a report from Japan made it clear that two Apple smartphones will have OLED screens with 6.1 and 6.5 inches diagonals, respectively. The third smartphone to replace the iPhone XR will again receive an LCD screen of unknown size. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo argues that the diagonal screens will remain unchanged compared with last year. For iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max, this means 5.8 and 6.4 inches, and for iPhone XR 2 it is 6.1 inches.
It is impossible to understand from the case patterns whether Apple is going to switch to the USB-C connector. Ming-Chi Kuo claimed in March that Apple would continue to use the Lightning proprietary connector for at least another year.
But the new feature will be Underwater Mode. This means that the touch screen will work even under water. There you can also take pictures. The ambient light sensor can also work underwater, allowing you to change the color balance in your photos. Without it, they would look too dark and inconspicuous.
If this design of iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max is really confirmed, how do you like this decision of the company? Will the iPhone lose its position this year?
