Elephone A7 is the first hole-punch display smartphone from Elephone. It was just a matter of time, and in fact, Elephone seems to be working on a smartphone that draws a lot of inspiration, design side and beyond, from the current top of the range of Huawei Nova and Samsung Galaxy S10! Today, a short video came from the Chinese manufacturer’s headquarters showing a new smartphone with a Punch-Hole Display. The device will also show on the HongKong Global Source Mobile Electronics Exhibition. The exhibition time is 18th April-21st April 2019, our booth number is Hall 1, 1M26.
The Elephone A7 will definitely be equipped with the new Mediatek Helio P70. We also already know that the A9 will be using a triple camera on the back, we hope that at least two of the three sensors are real because otherwise, it would be kind of embarrassing. A fake triple camera that only uses one sensor hasn’t yet come to our attention.
In addition to the three main cameras, there is also a front camera that is integrated into the display with a so-called Perforated Screen. This is an extremely narrow notch, as we also know it from the Honor nova 4. The ear cup of the A7 probably sits above the display within the thin edge.
Also known is that the back will be available in a gradient color. This means that the colors will look different and reflect strongly depending on the incidence of light. We still don’t know anything related to the camera set up on the back, but we will keep you posted with any updates that we find. The Elephone A7 will also ditch the waterdrop notch. Instead, it will have a 6.41? screen with a hole in the upper Center for the 20MP selfie camera. The screen resolution will remain FullHD+.
At the moment We don’t know more details about Elephone A7. Keep in mind that some specs may change, but according to my sources they are pretty close to final. The device will also show on the HongKong Global Source Mobile Electronics Exhibition. The exhibition time is 18th April-21st April 2019, our booth number is Hall 1, 1M26. That’s pretty much everything we know as of now, more info will be available on the company’s official website when the time is due, or just stay tuned on iGeekPhone for the latest! Looking forward to knowing more about the new Elephones.
