Recently, Stefan Kischka the global wireless and IoT product line president of TÜV Rheinland awarded the Bruce Lee, Vice President of Handset Business of Huawei Consumer Business Group, the world’s first Germany TÜV 5G mobile phone CE certificate.
However, the equipment that Huawei obtained the certificate was Mate X, which is the powered by Kirin processor + Baron baseband platform. On the Qualcomm platform, only the Xiaomi family has obtained 5G CE certification which is the EU’s mandatory access standards.
