A design diagram representing an alleged Google Pixel 4 XL has just appeared on the SlashLeaks website. For the moment, it is still too early to determine whether this leak is credible. We invite you to take this image with tweezers.
Anyway, our colleagues at Phone Arena were quick to develop a first 3D rendering of the Google Pixel 4 XL. Their creation allows us to better imagine what a pixel 4 XL hole might look like.
So first notice the double hole in the screen, intended to accommodate the double photo sensor before. With the Pixel 3 XL, Google had housed them in a thick notch, which was not without controversy.
On the back side, we will notice a dual photosensor. This would be the first time Google decided to add a second photo module. So far, the firm has preferred to rely on algorithms and software processing very successful, as we pointed out in our test of Google Pixel 3 XLXL.
n the screen, we also note the integration of a fingerprint sensor under the screen. The diagram does not mention any scanner on the back of the device. The arrival of an integrated scanner would not really be a surprise, as this technology is democratized on many smartphones. Unless Google relies on face recognition 3D Face ID ? As a reminder, the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are not expected before autumn 2019.
