Black Shark 2 will be presented next March 18th and in the meantime, the Xiaomi sub-brand continues to confirm some of the technical features of its next smartphone dedicated to gamers. The first are contained in a teaser image published on Weibo by the official account of Black Shark and confirm unequivocally what had already emerged in the form of indiscretions.
The terminal will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC combined with 12GB of RAM (for completeness of the information we remind you that on AnTuTu and Geekbench a second variant with 8GB of RAM has also been spotted).
The CEO of Black Shark, Wu Shimin, adds some details about the battery to enrich the picture. The manager does not refer to autonomy, as to the longer duration. Specifically, by intervening on the battery structure and optimizing the software algorithms, the number of charges and discharge cycles has increased by 60% compared to the previous models sold by the company.
The CEO makes no secret of wanting to target the audience of professional gamers in this way, or those who will use the Black Shark 2 in the field of e-sports. Another feature from which this user base can benefit is the already confirmed presence of a further enhanced liquid cooling system.
It is not excluded that in the 5 days separating the official presentation the company will provide further details on the technical data sheet of its 3rd gaming smartphone; Black Shark 2. It is recalled, in the meantime, that the recent passage on AnTuTu confirmed the screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels (diagonal not specified), while the photo of the back highlighted a revisited aesthetic compared to the previous Black Shark and Black Shark Helo.
