OnePlus is gearing up to unveil its newest line-up this year. Every semester we see a Chinese brand smartphone, as happened with OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T last year. By June, we should know OnePlus 7, which should bring some interesting design and hardware changes to its predecessors, as we’ve seen in previous rumors.
Among the highlights, as seen in leaks, we may find the inclusion of a retractable front camera. Oppo and Vivo branded handsets already have this technology, such as F11 Pro and V15 Pro, both officially made recently. Recently leaked case images show that the old rumors are on the right track, and reinforce the design revealed earlier. Check out:
In one of the photos, curiously the device appears with a notch in the form of a drop. At the same time, the case itself has space at the top for the retractable front camera. In this way, they may have placed the front design of the OnePlus 6T as a reference.
Another highlight is the rear camera. Unlike what has happened since the OnePlus 5, we see the inclusion of a third photographic sensor, but it is not clear what its functionality would be. An LED flash is found just below.
A microphone is positioned at the top, while underneath there is the USB-C port, the sound output, and another microphone, which should be the main one. Finally, the power button and the slider to enable the mute is seen on the right, while the volume knobs are on the left. However, there is no price information or possible release date for the new smartphone yet. So we’ll need to wait for more leaks and rumors about OnePlus 7 to learn more about it.
The OnePlus 7 smartphone is credited with a 6.5-inch display with a subscreen fingerprint sensor and a drop-shaped cut-out for the front camera, a vertical triple main camera, Qualcomm SnapDragon 855 single-chip system, 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB flash memory, support for fast charging OnePlus WARP Charge, as well as protection against dust and moisture in accordance with the description of the degree of IP68.
