Samsung continues to focus heavily on the renewed Galaxy A range: after the Galaxy A10, A30 and A50 (the latter two announced this week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona), soon it will be the turn of the Samsung Galaxy A40 which could be the second of the series to be officialized also in Europe.
This is what is evident from the German version of the official website of the Asian giant, where the official support page has been updated with the model number SM-A405FN / DS: just to be clear is the same that in mid-January made its first appearance on GeekBench.
It remains to be seen whether Italy will be among the countries involved, too. In any case, it will be interesting to understand the evolution of this Samsung Galaxy A40, expected at a price certainly less than 359 euros (about $408) representing the list price of the A50.
A part of news considering that in recent years the mid-range of the Korean company was certainly not among the cheapest in circulation. Samsung Galaxy A40 is expected with an Exynos 7885, 4GB of RAM and Android Pie 9 but little is known about the rest of the specifications, or other details (there will be the sensor for fingerprints integrated into the display). The appointment is for spring forward when we will certainly know more about it.
Samsung recently released the entry-level phone in the Galaxy A10 series, which have Exynos 7884 chipset with 2GB RAM, a single rear camera. The Indian price is 8490 INR (about $120). According to the news of OnLeaks, the Samsung A series will also have a high-end product A90, which will adopt a pop-up camera design and also support rotation.
