Xiaomi Not Releasing Foldable Screen Phone: It is Better Not To Launch

After the MWC2019 conference, Xiaomi International Product and Marketing Director and global spokesperson Donovan Sung expressed his views on 5G mobile phones and folding screen mobile phones in an interview with the media.

Song Jianing said that regarding the release time of the Xiaomi folding screen mobile phone, Xiaomi hopes to wait until the folding technology is more mature, and then announces that Xiaomi is trying different forms of folding screen products. According to foreign media, Xiaomi’s current attitude toward folding screen mobile phones is that instead of rushing to launch products that are not fully prepared, it is better not to launch them.

At present, Samsung and Huawei, which have already launched folding screen mobile phones, have only displayed their folding screen mobile phones in the glass box at the MWC conference site, which does not allow consumers to touch, let alone experience it.
