Google Pixel 4 has been leaking for some time. Some time ago, the Mountain View giant patented the design of the phones. Now we find out that smartphones provide better support for dual SIM. We will probably finally get a dual standby service, which will allow us to fully use the potential of eSIM and a physical card.
Google on older smartphone models provides support for eSIM and a regular card. However, without dual standby support. Therefore, you can not use both solutions at the same time. Pixel 4 should eventually change this and there will be full support for dual SIM. This is suggested by the new commits that appeared in AOSP.
Above you can see the commit that one of the googlers placed in AOSP. There is clear information suggesting that Google Pixel 4 will provide dual SIM support. This function is expected to be introduced this year. So it’s obvious that it’s about the upcoming giant’s smartphone from Mountain View. The launch of Google Pixel 4 smartphones will probably take place at the beginning of autumn.
Going back to the design and other features, the new Pixel Duo is said to have a full-screen design, no chin and also remove rabbit ears. The back will still hold the typical “Two-tone” design, along with a camera and a fingerprint sensor.
The company will probably abandon traditional 4GB RAM and increase from 6 – 8GB to increase multitasking capabilities. Some features include the Snapdragon 855, XL version with 4000mAh battery. The camera on the back still has to have one lens. The closer we are to the premiere, the more new ones will be known about new phones.
