In recent times, the main focus of the producers is definitely the photographic one, so much so that we have seen the photographic sensors multiply on smartphones, from doubles to triples and even quadruples. Nokia 9, however, will go further, with even 5 sensors and probably even Xiaomi will follow soon.
The company’s product director, Wang Teng Thomas, shared a Weibo post containing a photo where the watermark bears the words ” Shot on Mi AI Penta Cam “. In addition to the watermark, which could also be a fake, there are no other clues as to how the device will be. The image taken simply contains several Xiaomi smartphones that show the different designs that the company has used so far. The picture seems very clear, suggesting that the five cameras could return really good shots.
In addition, there is not much information on the hardware or design of the smartphone, but since this will be a device with 5 rear cameras, the processor is expected to be Snapdragon 845 (which will equip Nokia 9 Pureview) or Xiaomi bet on the best of 2019 and launch the device with Snapdragon 855 (which will equip the Nokia 9 Sirocco in the second half of the year).
The increase in the number of sensors in smartphones is certainly aimed at improving the quality of photographs and videos shot, as well as being able to bring different shooting modes. Having different sensors also means having a wider range of focal length coverage available to meet all needs in everyday use.
The post was however immediately eliminated by the author, suggesting that it was published by mistake or that it was meant to be just a teaser. The device is expected to be Mi 9, due to the “shot on Mi “watermark, but other information should still emerge in the coming months, so keep an eye on it.
