A whole new “space” is spreading in the smartphones industry and we mean that there will be some first folding devices and all manufacturers are urged to find a way to establish themselves here too. Samsung may be the leader in the global phone market, but now it has been a fall that has not gone unnoticed, and it is of concern to see its Chinese rivals go up and exert more pressure.
Next year, the company will bet a lot on the Galaxy S10 and Folding Galaxy F. A new exhibition by The Bell in South Korea has shed light on the company’s plans for these high-quality devices. Beginning with the Galaxy F, it is argued that Samsung will only produce one million units of the smartphone.
According to a rumors that the Samsung Galaxy Fold would be the Galaxy X , the first folding smartphone of the South Korean firm since it has leaked the registration of a new brand by the company under the name of Galaxy Fold, which reinforces the theory of the announcement of a Galaxy F device that has gained a lot of force last year in the specialized press.
So far, little is known about the Galaxy X, or as Galaxy F, rather a little known. Samsung will probably be releasing first-hand information at its in-house developer conference on November 7. Until then, we are still content with exciting rumors and this time it affects the or now probably the displays.
Because there are probably 2 OLED screens, which are in the Galaxy F. A smaller panel is installed on the outside of the device and should have a diagonal of 4.6 inches, according to Phone Arena. If you open the device, then a second screen comes to the fore, which should measure 7.3 inches.
So far, it was assumed in most rumors that it is a single display that is opened and/or closed accordingly. This would make the Galaxy F more of a 2-in-1 hybrid since it can either be just a smartphone or just a tablet, but not both at the same time.
Speculation abounds that Samsung will make the Galaxy X a high-end device that could ultimately run on a powerful processor like the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip, but Samsung hasn’t confirmed that.
According to a report from SamMobile, Samsung is planning to bundle 512GB of storage in the foldable phone. That’s become the new standard in the higher end of the mobile market and should give you plenty of room for a variety of content.
Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy F sometime in 2019, and it could be as soon as Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in late February. While Samsung has stopped short of discussing pricing when the smartphone launches early next year, there have been hints that it could cost upwards of $1800, or nearly double the price of today’s best phones.
