The new sensor uses a Quad Bayer color filter array with adjacent 2 x 2 pixels in the same color for high-sensitivity shooting. When shooting in dim light, the signals from four adjacent pixels are combined to increase the sensitivity to a level equivalent to 1.6 µm pixels (12 megapixels), resulting in a bright, low-noise image.Stay tuned for more news about Xiaomi mi9.
