It seems that Huawei, like Samsung, is preparing to announce a smartphone with a sub-screen front camera. The manufacturer has published a poster of the device. According to several sources, this smartphone will be Huawei Nova 4. It should be shown in December.
The poster hints at the presence of a selfie camera under the display in the upper left corner of the device. This information is confirmed by the leaked photo of the news in the social network Weibo.
Like as expected from Samsung Galaxy A8s, the Huawei Nova 4 appears to utilize a large cut-out in the top-left corner of the display there front camera is mounted. Presumably, this will be accompanied by relatively slim bezels above and on either side of the display, while a slightly thicker chin is expected to be present.
Despite these uncertainties, one feature that is clearly visible is the 3.5mm headphone jack on top which will certainly please hardcore fans. This will likely be combined with a USB Type-C port down below.
If you believe the rumors, the Huawei Nova 4 will get a 6.3-inch IPS-screen with a resolution of Full HD +. The heart of the device will be the top Kirin 980 processor. The smartphone will also install 6/8GB of RAM, 64/128/256GB ROM, dual main camera, 4100mAh battery with fast charging and Android Pie OS.
Initially, it was assumed that Samsung is the first in the world to launch a similar smartphone. He was supposed to debut in January 2019. But it seems that Huawei was forced to change the plans of the Korean manufacturer. According to an Ice Universe insider, Samsung may also announce its device in December. Therefore, it is impossible to say exactly who will be the first. We will find out everything next month.
