As early as August this year, Twitter broke the news @Roland Quandt said that MediaTek is about to launch two new processors Helio P80 and P90. At present, the company’s main model is Helio P60, P80 is more likely to be like the P60 upgrade because the P70 is too small compared to the P60 upgrade.
According to the latest exposure of Geekbench running scores, MediaTek Helio P80 model is MT6779, single core score is 2008, multi-core is 6884 points, which means that it finally used the A75 core, clocked at 2GHz. This engineering model is equipped with 8GB of storage and runs Android 9 system.
It is worth mentioning that in the AI performance rankings released by the Computer Vision Laboratory of the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland, we also saw the MediaTek Helio P80, and also listed Qualcomm’s new flagship platform Snapdragon 8150.
The leaderboard shows that the AI score of the Snapdragon 8150 is as high as 22,082 points, ranking first. Surprisingly, the second place is MediaTek P80 with a score of 19,343. It can be found that the performance of these two processors far exceeds the 11000-12000 points of the Kirin 980 carried by the Huawei Mate 20 series, and the counterattack has been completed.
